Saleae Logic 8

The Saleae Logic 8 is a polished, professional 8-channel USB logic analyzer aimed at embedded developers. It captures digital signals at up to 100 MS/s and can also record analog at 10 MS/s with 10-bit resolution, so you get both the clean logic view and the real waveform from the same tool.

Good for:

• Long-duration captures — it streams continuously to the PC, so you can debug minutes of protocol traffic instead of just a snapshot.
• Decoding buses with 25+ built-in protocol analyzers (SPI, I2C, Serial, and more), with live trigger-on-protocol and protocol search.
• Repeatable, automated analysis via the Logic 2 Python API.

Notes: Logic 2 software runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. A significant step up in usability and reliability from a bargain USB logic analyzer — worth it if you do a lot of protocol work.
