The XGecu T76 is a higher-end universal programmer in the same family as the T48. It reads and writes a wide range of flash, EEPROM, and microcontroller chips, making it a capable tool for chip-off firmware extraction — dump a device's flash for analysis or write modified firmware back.
Good for:
- Reading and writing SPI NOR and parallel NAND flash pulled from devices.
- Broader chip, package, and high-density flash support than entry-level programmers.
- Reflashing modified firmware during research.
Notes: A step up from the T48 for researchers who work with a wider variety of chips and larger flash. You will still want the correct adapters for each chip package, plus a hot-air station for the chip-off itself.
